Have a very loose interest in the NFL. However, can anyone explain HTF they get away with playing all of what, 12 games in an entire season? And still make the uber millions?
They make about 14mins of actual running play in a match FFS. It's beyond absurd. Still, I get suckered in occasionally by the spectacle.

it's 16 games - they are athletes. There is a lot of brain work involved in knowing the plays/schemes. There isn't that much of an off-season really what with mini camp, training camp....nowadays they are expected to toe a pretty strict line during the off-season,...unless your name is Johnny football...who can't even toe the line during the regular season 😀
