As we are praising them on the other thread then let us damn the purveyers of shonky curry.

Worst for me by far was Moonlight Tandori in Looe, it was like they had missed out half the ingredients utterly tasteless. Like eating wallpaper paste with lumps of meat in it.

Several years ago, I was having a curry in a place where the whole of the seated area could look into the (open plan) kitchen. You could see the 'chef' opening the jars of Patak's curry sauce and pouring it into the pans.......

Balti King, Broomhill, Sheffield. Dreadful food. Still, when you're main clientele is pi$$ed up student rugby teams, I don't think it matters

The Kings Ransom in York, asked for a chicken Balti, mild for the wife, and a jalfrezi for me but asked for it nice and hot!

Wife was sweating her tits off, and I was rather unimpressed with my extra mild bland jalfrezi.

We eventually swapped when the chefs mistake was realised, still wasn't impressed with the meal though!
Pointed out to the staff what had happened and the response was "it's supposed to be like that mate" mmm
your mild chicken baltis are extra hot and your extra hot jalfrezis are korma mild!
Basically got told to pay and get out Asap!!

Most the Curry houses in Malvern are worth avoiding like the plague.

Bengal Brasserie is the worst though - just absolute sh*te

Spotted the pataks catering jars in Brampton takeaway on saturday neet. Mind you, it's so crap I would have though that Pataks would have tasted better than that!
