The nose and cheek are really minor bruises that hardly show compared to the little dark dot of a black eye.
Weird thing is I don't remember bruising my face during the ride. I got hit in the face by one bit of mud which I guessed cause the dot bruise but the rest is a mystery

To be fair, if you did hit your head/face you might not remember it.
You sir have been the victim of Alien abduction and brain reprogramming, hence no recollection of any of the events causing these injuries.
Be aware this could be a recurring event.
