The new bath arrived this week and with it a large pallet crate.

Dimensions are about 2m long and 1.25m tall and wide.

Question: is it too deep (i.e. should I cut it down to about 0.75m deep?

Roof wise: what would be the best option be? Slightly pitched or nice and simple (flat)?

It will butt up to the house unless someone tells me it will cause damp issues!

Should be filling it up in the next week or so when they start the tree replacement programme down my road so need to get a move on!

Thank you!

No need to cut it down.
Pitch the roof away from the house.
Put it somewhere with plenty of draft if possible.

As well as what geoffi mentions, I would us another pallet to create a air gap against the wall and stack floor as well, the more air you can get flowing through the stack the better.

good advice - I can sort that.

the reason I thought it may be better if narrower is that using / rotation / restocking would be easier!

Put one or two vertical divides in to give the option of easier rotation/restocking?
