I'm with Virgin Meadia cable broadband.
My wireless router just seemed to stop working yesterday. The laptop and PC pick up the wireless network OK, but just can't connect to the internet.
Plug the ethernet cable from the laptop directly in to the modem and can get on OK that way , so it's not the service.
I've made changes to the router in the past (changed channel, default password and made it so it didn't broadcast) but it's all worked fine since then. Tried to revert to a backup of the settings for the routwer I took when I first got it - but still no luck. All the lights indicate no problem.
Any ideas before I spend hours on the phone to the tech services?
