Croft has played less than 3 full games worth of rugby as far as I am aware. I rate him very highly when fit and on form.

Ashton puts in high early off the ball hit/tip tackle on any Welshman to get off the pitch soon as he sees size of opo wingers.

He gains yards, tackles like a machine, catches high balls, passes well and jumps in the line out

sounds like the perfect 6 to me, most good sixes can cover 7 very well. Hill was a great 7 but a better 6.

He's also got four turnovers to his name this Championship, to Warbuerton's one.

I think both play better than the stats suggest.

Warburton
Robshaw

Minutes
172
320

Carries
11
48

Metres
11
129

Average gain
1m
2.7m

Defenders beaten
1
0

Tackles
21
47

Missed tackles
2
6

Turnovers won
3
2

And another - Freddie M is joint favourite at the bookies for MoM tomorrow!

What's your predictions?

I'm going for Ireland (<5 points), France (easily) and England (<10 points)

As a Scot I hope the last 2 are wrong!

Who has the most turnovers in the championship? Where can I find such a stat?

How much has Croft played since coming back? Cant say I've ever been that impressed with him.

This is all irrelevant as I know Ashton is going to win the Grand Slam with one of his swallow dives with 1 min to go. I've seen it in my tea leaves. On the plus side we need a new telly anyway and window repairmen always need work!!!

AA - why is it that you have nothing good to say about any English players regardless of who they are! It's comments like this that make me wholeheartedly believe that all the Welsh supporters want a bloodbath tomorrow!

Hovis secured four in the last game alone, so not sure where your stats are from!

Interesting that Lancaster's commented that he's not bothered about the win, but how the players react to the occasion in light of a looming world cup final 😯

I know its a long shot to go from what AA said to my comment but I firmly believe that most Welsh supporters are so blinkered that they would feel that they have let their country down if they admit that an English player was any good! Personally, I don't feel it very sporting for North to state this but players are not shy of stoking the fire!!

AA - Apologies, should of added a 😆 to my post!

Gerorge North:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/21795152

"Wales is a massive rugby nation, and whenever we play England there seems to be this long, long rivalry that everyone just wants a bloodbath, really."

"You try to keep a cool head and you try to maintain calm and focus. But everyone you see on the street is saying 'make sure you smash their heads in!'."

Nice to see where we stand, tomorrow I will mostly be hating the welsh.

It does make me smile when the English get accused of arrogance given they way a number of Welshists go on 😀

I want a bloodbath, there I have said it. I want the game to look like a version of the Hunger Games/Battle Royal played over a smaller pitch.

As a neutral; The Welsh only get uppity and arrogant when there is a game like this. That is not an accusation that anybody can really make of England, no matter what the sport. Which must be crap, imagine going into every tournament as world beaters only to be let down by superior foreign johnnys (football) or Colonials (rugby)

Case for the prosecution;

That's really quite sad. He must mix with some low-specification human beings.

He was probably strolling around Merthr.

A Welsh mate of mine has emailed to say he won't be biking on Sunday as he'll be completely hung over after the celebrations.

I emailed back, "see you on Sunday".

I really dont understand what makes some people read something somone else has said then ignore what I have written but still come on here and make pretty stupid and derogatory comments about me.

For the record I said Robshaw is a good player and good captain recently but might be a better six than 7. Cole is an excellent tighthead, parling and launbury very good locks ( maybe too similar to be an otstanding pairing) and Tuilagi a very fine player. I likeboth Youngs too. Lawes is a **** though and so are Hartkey and and Ashton. The england is playing better than wales in the recent past and are justifiable favourites. Wales can win though if they up their game.
Croft is like a better version of Aaron Shingler, not the type of player I look for in a six and too lightweight for lock.

Norths comments are stupid but hes only about 12 he'll learn when he grows up.

I'm off home now to get drunk for what will hopefully be the first of two nights in a row.

I'd like to wish everyone, Irish French (ok, maybe not the french) Scots Welsh and AA a great weekend of rugby and drinking and buy you all a virtual pint!

Chin Chin all may the best teams win!

He was just being honest. I don't blame the lad at all. It's the attitude of the people he's speaking to that I worry about.

Can he shit out of that chin?

Yes. It's his party trick and how he originally bagged off with the princess 🙂

Wales with no players as good as Robshaw, Farrel and Cole and look set for a kicking.

I don't get all this praise for lineout 'guru' Parling. The lineout for England has been dire all 6N's....we are the worst in the stats and it has been painfully obvious when watching.

AA - TBH I dip in and out of this thread as whenever I do read it there is always some anti-english comment which just makes me think what is the point of reading on when I know what is going to be written! This is probably where I have missed your pro-england statements. Incidentally, I have Welsh and Scottish mates and they will gladly support anybody who is playing against England and whilst I also find this equally annoying I have always gone along with it but in this thread it is just plain annoying. Personally, I support Wales when they are not playing England as I have Welsh ancestry but I would lay any money that no Welshman would think the same way!

I have already stated I would support the Al-Qaeda 15 if they were playing england, I don't understand why this offends people so much. I am Welsh and want us to win tomorrow so much but if we don't its not the end of the world, there will be other chances. Us Welshies will cop lots of stick but it is just a bit of banter. Save the real unpleasantness for the football crowd.

Come on Wales lets have a huge party in Cardiff tomorrow 😆

Really hoping for a cracker of a game. Plenty of tries please and the lead changing hands several times would be good.

Meanwhile, as the two teams complete their pre-match preparations, uncertainty surrounds the selection of Owen Farrell at fly-half for England ahead of a potential ‘kicker-takes-all’ contest with Wales’ Leigh Halfpenny.

“If he does play, whoever comes out on top could be taking kicks for the Lions in the summer,” gushed the impartial John Inverdale, while rhythmically rubbing his hands up and down his legs. “The way Halfpenny looks up at the posts before he strikes the ball, presumably recalling the hardships of his Welsh upbringing in a cave; it’s so touching – literally. And then there’s Owen – it’s all in those gorgeous eyes with Owen – a majestic presence with his clenched buttocks, chiselled hair and designer bloodstain. He can slot my conversion any time he likes.”

Gray broken, Kellock to start I hope. If he doesn't I suspect there will be a chapter in his autobiography entitled "Me and Johnston's daughter."

POSTED 4 DAYS AGO # REPORT-POST

When's the book due?

And is Grant Gilchrist any good?

Brilliant 🙂 Iechyd da pawb!
