last time I had wine at a curry house was with some work colleagues. One of whom started going off about how he'd read that Rose wine was a perfect accompaniment for curry.
Waiter was duly summoned and asked if they had any Rose. After a brief period in the 'cellar' he triumphantly returned clutching said bottle.
