I've just recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 (which I actually like!) However on STW when I click the button to link an Image or Video, nothing happens.
Do I need to change a security setting or some thing on Internet Explorer ?

Do you not still have to host them on somewhere like flickr or photobucket and use the img codes?

I'm bit rusty as use a Mac most of the time so this may not be right.
In Explorer on the menu click Tools --> Internet Options --> Privacy
There may be an option of 'allow pop ups for this site' it's something like that.
You you will still need to host the photos some where. What browser are you using? Its more likely to be a browser issue than a OS issue, so try an alternate browser.
Yes still hosting elsewhere, but its the lazy thing of being able to click IMG, and it just bringing up the box.
Not doing that or giving any message etc to say pop ups disabled etc...
