Ok the smell of smoke from my old coal fired pc is starting to make me feel ill, so I thought i should buy a new one. Been waiting for Vista to fizzle out...... so is now the time to buy? Or should I wait even longer for the bugs in 7 to be ironed out?

In a word, yes. I've been using the Beta for a few months and have just installed Win 7 Home Premium on my main laptop and desktop. Works a treat!

Most of the bugs in Win 7 were ironed out in the beta release: Vista 🙂
