Just out of curiosity, did you not ask this same question last year? Only asking to satisfy myself. I have no idea what to suggest.

An iPod Shuffle - in budget and, if you get some nice audio books, peace and quiet.
Plus you can then play your stuff as loud as you like whilst dancing round the house like a loon.

Simon - I ask it every year. Sometimes you guys have good ideas I haven't thought of.

Big Big Bash tickets sound excellent idea but I think she is already going to that.

I always try to buy her something which gives to others too.
You can buy some nice stuff from;
http://www.unicef.org.uk/store/index.aspx
or this could be a winner;
http://www.apple.com/uk/ipod/red/

Good luck, I always find buying for birds difficult.

He's done the right thing by listening to her complaints of being unsatisfied. She rings me when you're out btw.

My GF complained about her broken watch so I bought her a new watch.

What does she moan about-you do listen to her right?

Naah - it's easy. The hard bit is persuading them to wear it 🙂

Myla or Agent Provocateur.

What do you mean, they're clothes? Hardly!

might not be thinking of the same browns, but you'd get change from a tenner in the one i thinking about.(although that does depend on how long you stay in there)

Captain Flashheart! And I thought you were a man of decorum. on 2nd thoughts, Cloisters/rugby.... 😉

WCA, what about tickets to a gig? Always a winner with me. Or, matinee to theatre in London..... Saw Oliver last week and it was AAAAAACE, you could both go for about £100. (gig/theatre means you get present too!)

lol - love the amount of knowledge on here about Browns and the mighty Griffin. Browns is definitely the more upmarket option though... 🙂

My boss's husband bought her a hedge trimmer for her birthday. Cue much hilarity in the office.
Liberty gift coins are a winner, I reckon, if you really can't think of much else.

A big bag of 500 20p coins - she can spend hours searching through for those undated ones that are worth £200 each.
