The article doesn't mention if he is to be prosecuted, he faces a heavy prison sentence I would have thought.

I don't know why these Walter Mitty characters take such risks in real life - much safer to live out your fantasy life on an internet forum.

BTW, the article says that he "resigned". Why do people in high profile jobs never get the sack ?

He resigned in September 2010 after a TV programme revealed he had falsely claimed to be a former Royal Marine and to have raced in an Olympic bobsleigh event against the Jamaican team depicted later in the movie Cool Runnings.

brilliant, you gotta respect that level of reality detachment!
