is there anything genuinely exciting about it. maybe it's me, they do say people that get bored are probably boring people.
if you type 'entertain me you boring internet' you get lots blog sites from people trying desperately to be entertaining, talking about themselves.

I think they say that for a reason.
If you're interested in something, you can find something interesting about it on the web. If you're not interested in anything... well, check out the pron. 😉

That should keep you entertained until you get home for some left handed internet.

allowing oneself to become bored is a personal failing. I have a very low boredom threshold, so I always make sure I have plenty to entertain me. The web is stuffed with interesting things, but it does require you to have interests...

thanks all, some good things to look at. i think you're right mr Barnes, it's my fault that i became bored an hour ago. I have some silly interests, mtb stuff, vintage touring bikes, fly fishing, trying to learn the trumpet. but work gets in the way sometimes.... i've read all there is to read about my hobbies, but i should work harder to make the time to do them more. starting this evening! ps. coffeeking that suggestion sounds actually really interesting, will investigate. i thought i'd seen all there was to see on youtube already, street fights between russian football gangs, goats having heart attacks etc....cheers for top tips all.

What's that plugin for firefox that finds random sites other people have recommended then you rate them so it learns what you are into? Found some cool stuff with that.

I find ted.com is better for videos of educational talks on pretty much any subject. Some of them are very very good.

Also take a look at iTunes U

[img] [/img]

Free video podcasts of interesting lectures and presentations etc from various large Unis (Oxford, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, Open University).

You don't need an ipod/iphone, just watch them in itunes.

CONSPIRACY

great site to read totally off their head conspiracy theorists going mad.

if you want to see how mad people can be, watch the 'loose change' video about the 9/11 famous conspiracy.
