.. in Thor 2 😯
Well, Loki is a god...
Someone seems confused about fiction.
Have a word with yourself and watch better films whilst you are at it 😉
I watched that Thor film where they were driving about in racing cars....how does that fit in with the Norse pantheon??! 😡

Even gods got to have a little fun time now and again. And the pantheon is just a term to describe all the gods of a particular people, it has no bearing on what they get up to, or when; they are supposed to be immortal, after all.
I get the impression some people are over-thinking this, it's a chuffing fantasy film, for heaven's sake! 🙄
Still, I can understand the OP's uncertainty about this...
"Punchinello, funny little fellow, Punchinello, funny little man". As my senile 98 year old grandad was fond of saying in the later years.
Quite sad really. He was a God to me.

Why is Arwen dying?
Loki is a trickster god - the guard you see in Svartalfhiem and informing Odin of Loki's death is Loki.
Just be grateful they're inspired by the comics rather than the mythology proper - Loki decides he quite wants to be a female horse, spends some time galloping around, gets knocked up, and gives birth to Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse.
Arwen is dying because she is old..but still looks hot at her age..and she got that elf thingy and she rides horse very well...
@mrs toast. Cheers for that and that brief Norse Mythology story... .. I thought Loki is just made up marvel character
arwen is half elven so she gets to choose whether to be mortal or immortal, she cose mortal so she could be with aragorn
Where's loki's mask...like in the 'Mask' with Jim Carrey? No consistency in fantasy films anymore. I'm sure its all made up 😉
