More useful, would be if they specified the amount of lactose it contained. I don't think butter has much lactose in it, so is fairly safe for people with lactose intolerance to consume. TBH I'm surprised that butter can be described as having milk in it, unless milk is added to it to make it softer ..... or sumfink

They are possibly warning people that the product may contain traces of nuts such as brazil nuts, walnuts, etc. After figuring out that 68% peanut content statement made it obvious that it contains peanuts. And of course everybody knows that peanuts are legumes and not nuts.
It's a standardised labelling system innit. Good idea in my book, even if it does lead to a few redundant labels.
Otherwise we'll end up with stuff like 'Well we thought EVERYONE knew chelsea buns have raisins in them.. but apparently poor old unlucky dave didn't.'
