lousy?

Just got over a stomach bug and straight into manflu. To my mind, it doesn't benefit a body in partial shutdown to put it through strenuous exercise.

What do you lot do?

IME it tends to make it worse so I don't 'exercise' but I will still go out and play, just take it easy.

Supposed to be going out for a run tonight. Have felt 'grot' all day and had a headache that pills couldn't shift (although it seems to have backed off a bit now).

Not running. Will do a bit extra tomorrow.

Anybody who continues to train has a form of ocd in my book.
Its utterly pointless.

I've spoken to enough cardiologists to know that they generally take a dim view of exercising when ill - there are occasions when this can cause heart damage.

I'd sack it off and recover faster.

I don't 'train' but will still go out for a bit of a ride and some fresh air as long as I don't have any signs of cold/infection on my chest

Only a nitwit would do that. I did that last year, ran a rubbish half marathon I was training for, continued to get slower until pensioners and cripples were overtaking me, before giving into it and resting properly. 6-8 weeks wasted altogether.
