Maybe.

I see numerous trailers, caravans and campervans parked up all over the place in little parking bays on the roadside. I'm just wondering on the legality of it. Fancy bringing the caravan down after Easter and it'd be nice to have it near the house.

I'm hoping to camp in Eifel National Park this summer with a view to buying a static caravan there. The landscape is beautiful, and only a relatively short drive form Dunkerque.

Yeh there are lots of places you can stop at, there are very cheap council type pitches all over the place, and I think you can stop in lay-bys for just 1 night.

toytowngermany.com has a good forum for asking such question.

I don't mean stayin in the van, I mean keeping it when not using it.
