The upper has a bit of a bite to it. Done it once years ago but wasn't that high. Siphon and pin city

Cool. Looks pretty unrelenting.
I've paddled with Mr Shackleton a couple of times when I used to paddle more than bike, but not done any of the plym yet. Always seemed to end up on the upper dart.
Cool video.

wow, up till 3 minutes I was thinking that I really fancy doing that if I ever get back into paddling again. Then it got a bit spicy for me.

Maybe one day...

Fantastic river, I would imagine it's difficult catching it in just the right conditions. Going down a grade 4/5 river the only thing better than mountain biking, unfortunately I'm not up to paddling rivers like that any more - too old!

yeah it looks really full on. I tried getting in to WW when moved to within 10 minutes of the dart, but the arrival of a wee one meant that regular half days out made it difficult to master the skills. so much of it seems to be reflex and muscle memory. by the time I'd warmed up I normally have capsized a couple of times...
tend to sea kayak more as it's bit more predictable!
