New job, new office, clean desk policy. Therefore all my junk is going to have to go back and forth with me, including the laptop. Not such a bad thing as its given me an excuse to put an SSD in it.
Anyway, I pedal in most mornings and run from the station the others. Anyone else carry a laptop on their back safely, softly, happily?
Currently mixing up a Alpkit Gordon 25 and Camelbak Octane 18x. I just wondered if anyone had anything with a laptop sleeve? Any other advice?

at work we use these -
fairly light, very well made, seem nice and protective.
Do you fly alot? if so, worth getting one of the FAA approved laptop bags so you don't have to pull it out at every security checkpoint?

Waterproof pannier/bag of choice, plus laptop sleeve. Or for a bit more protection/flexibility than a plain sleeve, I have a Tucano Workout:

I'm testing a keen Newport dp atm(I do some product testing stuff for keen) has sleeve, bladder pocket and waterproof cover. Osprey are always good.

Crumpler for me. They come with laptop pouch and the backpacks themself are nicely padded. Good build quality too.

i have the swissgear one lasted for lats 5 years without any issue at all
Gpd for what it does and also pretty large for storage as well
Would recommend it
Also use it as a large camelbak when I go into mountains winter
Crumpler bags are really well made.
]I'm not sure what your budget is, but I use a Kriega bag on my Motorbike. It has the advantage of being waterproof and the excelent strapping system means I can really bring it in tight so there isn't any movement.

Looked at the crumplers, wan't too sure about the lack of chest / waist strap to stop it bouncing about.
Have had two kriegas (r25 & r35), when I was on the motorbike, if only they did a child sized version I'd be able to do the straps tight enough to stop them moving 🙁 Might have to go back to bikestop and try them on again.
