Looking for my father who doesn't trust himself up ladders. [url= http://www.gtech.co.uk/garden-tools/ht05-cordless-hedge-trimmer.html ]I've seen the GtechHT05 which according to their reviews are pretty positive[/url] but has anyone used this or got another recommendations.

Argos do a few. I've got this one, quite impressed with it so far: http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6084422
It is only good for the higher bits, I have a regular one by the same company for 'close up' trimming too
Bear In mind that the weight is on the end of a long pole so can get heavy very quickly
