I've begun treatment for depression. After several sessions in talk therapy, my therapist suggested I see a psychiatrist about some medication to help the process.
The psychiatrist seemed to think I would be best suited for Wellbutrin or Lexapro. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with either or both of these drugs, and could share some experiences that might help me with a decision.
Medication is a treatment not a cure and can help in some circumstances in giving you breathing space and in remembering what its like when the black dog goes away.
The first one is an SSRI drug that is commonly used. The second one I don't know and its a different sort of action
