Family camping, quiet, near to pubs/places to eat and somewhere to ride. (Its not going to happen is it).

I thought of somewhere near Grizesale/Hawkshead but I'm a realist- it'll be rammed won't it?!

I liked comrie croft but is in perthshire not englandshire.

Has bike wee bike trails on the doorstep and a jump park as well i think? Thought it was great tbh...real fires allowed too.

http://www.newtonwhiteswan.co.uk/

Situated on a very quiet village green with duck pond at Newton on Raycliffe on the edge of the North Yorks Moors just outside Pickering.

There's loads of great riding from the campsite plus its about 10 minutes from Dalby in the car.

There is a quiet campsite behind the pub. The pub itself serves a good pint and proper home cooked food.

It is also only about a mile walk to one of the stations on the NYM railway for days out to Whitby by steam train. Scarborough, Flamingo Land, York, various abbeys all within easy distance.

Th Quiet site near Ullswater is nice, pub on site and all the running, cycling and walking you can throw a stick at.
When you tired you can swim/canoe in the lake.
