where does old employer post p45 to?
new work place or home address?
I should know this but can't remember...
cheers
always came to me with final pay, one part to keep and one to pass on to new employer
ah cheers
that means they've probably forgot to send it or its lost in post
Don't do what I do and lose them. I haven't paid the right tax in 7 years.. have to keep claiming it back..
How would they know where your new employer is? HMRC won't tell them. If they're going to post it,it will be to the address they have for you. Don't leave it too long before chasing them up, specially if you've already started the new job, in which by the way, good luck ๐
I might be lying but I seem to remember they can send them by email now.
mine sent it to my home address along with my final pay slip.
you should get 3 copies; you give 2 of them to the new employer and keep one.
Dave
It would be sent to whichever address they have on your file - might be best to check on it if you've moved house since you started working for them.
As konabunny pointed out, it will all be done online soon so p46's and p60's would get sent via email.
