I need to embed some small Flash files and movies into a training demo. Which sites do you recommend? Up to 300k each preferably.
When I search for SWF downloads I get loads of apps, converters and crappy files ... and when I search for MPGs I get a load of other stuff I don't want.
All ideas appreciated.
Cheers

You should be able to trawl through your temporary internet files and copy some SWF and MPG out of there. Once you find the file press CTRL-C and then switch to your desktop and press CTRL-V (paste).
I could make you some dummy files quickly if that would help?
MPEG1 presumably?
Thanks guys
I've already done a full local search and nothing fits the bill, hence looking online.
Tomalsop - I appreciate your offer - thanks. If it's no hassle could you pls dummy up something really simple. It's literally a case of showing how Flash and movie files can be embedded in a particular app. If you have anything related to IT or people that would be even better.

No problem at all, there's a looping SWF and an MPEG 1 in a Zip file here:

5", 320 x 240, 300k
It's just a basic placeholder loop for you to test. If you've got some images or content you'd like to me use let me know.

Does a full local search include hidden directories like Temp Int Files?
Thanks Tomalsop - job done:) Unfortunately I'll be limited by bandwidth when doing the demo so I'll stick with your versions instead of trying to create something more extravagant.
Scuttler, I'm currently using a 5 day old PC and don't have access to my other stuff at the mo, hence a lack of files - plus I run ccleaner every few hours to eliminate temp files, etc.

BTW, Tomalsop (finally spelled your name right), are you a developer? Flash, illustrator stuff, media, etc? Just want to make a note for future reference.

Cool, I'm glad they worked.
For want of a better description I suppose I'm a "video professional" (encoding, transcoding, basic editing etc.) but I also do a little bit of motion graphics (DVD and Blu-Ray design) and can muddle my way through basic Flash and web stuff.
Cheers,
Tom
