I prefer instant coffee to any other type.
Kenco red is great.
stevied - MemberMrs Brown's boys - utter, utter shi*e!!
Well no one would admit liking Mrs Brown's Boys on here - the general census is that it is utter, utter shite, so I'm not sure that it counts as "heresy".
On the other hand I like Mrs Brown's Boys, it amuses me. And I'm perfectly happy to admit it.
Mrs Brown's Boys.
David Bowie. Have tried hard but just irritates
Hitchhikers Guide was originally a radio play where they made it up as the went along each week. It sort of made it work because no-one really knew where it was going but now that idea seems to be taken up everywhere and it grates (see almost any series on Netflix )
richmtb - MemberLord of the Rings - the books.
Christ almighty it does go on. Tom **** Bombadil and singing dwarves and holy christ how long is the Council of flipping Elrond.
I read it when I was 15. Ideal age because 1, you still think this sort of thing is cool. And 2, you've got years to finish it.
Still, if you want a real benchmark of bloated fantasy you need to look at the Wheel of Time, a series so ridiculously overlong the writer died before the end.
Air shows, just nob off with your jet, Biggles.
Big Bang Theory.
Friends.
(Actually, most US sitcom. Though {someone else's heresy} Arrested Development was great
Football, Rugby. Pretty much any spectator sport. Cycling and some of the winter olympics are about the only things I can summon up any interest for at all.
I think Flashies flight shoes really quite elegant......*
The Beatles
Withnail and I
Harry Potter
Just don't really get any of them.
I still believe 26 ain't dead
The two things I dislike intensely, which set me apart from most English are:
Cup of Tea
David Attenborough
Socialism
David Bowie.
Baby boomers.
650B+ ain't dead....
Beatles seemed nothing more than a boy band
The Queen a relic and sad icon of years of abuse of power and wealth.
Back to the future franchise. Badly acted nonsense.
National grief over dead celebrities always seems gushing and fake.
I'm always rather bemused by those who maintain that the likes of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, etc are rubbish; this is clearly untrue, the sheer number of records sold globally over many years shows this to be the case.
What they mean is that, for whatever reason, they just don't find the music of one or other particularly interesting, but that, of course isn't a controversial statement.
Here's a news-flash - nobody gives a toss!
Football - I don't get it. After 90 minutes of watching over paid fragile little princesses have a bit of a jog around a park needlessesly passing the ball back and forth between themselves there are typically less than 4 goals in total and people think this is thrilling entertainment and pay a small fortune to see it live. Why?
I wear a full face helmet other than when riding downhill.
I'm not convinced about dropper posts.

It took Floyd over 50 years to sell 120 million records. Taylor Swift has achieved the same in 10. So if sales prove quality, Taylor Swift is 5 times better than Pink Floyd.
Not that I disagree, just arguing 😉 But I always think "what would happen today" is interesting to do. Pink Floyd would still be interesting today, and Radiohead. The Beatles? They'd have split up after selling about 500 copies of Please Please Me at gigs, and all become music teachers.
I've never watched any star wars film. Ever.
I really don't like Santa Cruz bikes,
David Miller , Paul McCartney I find tooth grindingly irritating,
I prefer a Typhoon to a Spitfire....
I really like salad cream with lasagne....
Oh god, not only am i agreeing with Ernie, I'm agreeing that like Mrs Browns Boys 😳
Bloody Bowie! Just noise, its been a year since my cat died and Rick Wakeman still hasn't once offered to recreate his sounds on a piano!
Football - waste of a good patch of grass
Wine - bleugh, pint of Carlsberg please
Scalextric - what's the point?
Facebook - nob off, I don't want to be friends with you in real life, let alone virtually
Oh god, not only am i agreeing with Ernie, I'm agreeing that like Mrs Browns Boys
You are in good company - Michael Gove is a fan.
James Last sold 200 million albums.
Sting...
Cars.
Yeah I know they're useful and everthing. I have one. But why do people spend tens of thousands of pounds on them? You can only drive at 70mph anyway, and your arse doesn't care whether your seats are leather or not.
Buy the cheapest car you can get away with, and retire a few years early with the money you've saved by not trying to plug a massive hole in your self-esteem with a shiny German I'm-the-same-as-everyone-else chariot.
And if you really, really couldn't do without the thrill of driving fast...

then maybe have a ****ing word with yourself? You're not twelve.
😉
Any British sports car - all gash without exception. I dream of a line of MGs, Sprites, E Types, etc and then tracking over them with largest dozer I can lay my hands on.
Most of the stuff you see on FGF.
The Last Night of the Proms.
The Beatles, Abba, Elvis Presley, Mozart.
Shakespeare.
Sport.
Alcohol.
Cars.
Fellatio.
Fellatio
IKR!
But am definitely becoming more of a fan these days.
I prefer frozen chips to fresh ! Gauss1777 I assume you are a female . 😀
Downtown abbey, poldark and all that period crap. The reality was mostly poor sanitation and early death ffs.
Beatles or the stones, meh
Beer and coffee I really want to like it but every time I try I just hate the after taste. Cider is my friend
Fellatio
As donor or recipient?
Beer and coffee I really want to like it but every time I try I just hate the after taste
Have you tried drinking them separately?
