Headlined at an academic conference, and delivered two papers - one of which I had to write in a matter of only a few days.

On a related note,

Adopted our neighbours cat.

It has basically lived with us anyway for months as they never treated him properly or had him sorted at the vets.

Last night they officially gave him to us so the poor little fella has until Monday to fill his boots with the lady cats as he's having his nuts snipped now on Monday. 🙂

Our existing cat does not think he is awesome though. 🙁

doesn't 'owning' a cat really just mean getting to foot all the bills and watching it sleep for 23 hours a day?

I managed to complete the 20 mile trip to work in under an hour thereby beating the fearsome 32km/h average speed figure.

I also have decided upon a slightly modified career path which should see my life filled with creative happiness 🙂

Rode Tunnel Hill with the Trolls in the dark.

Lots of strange pirate noises, swearing, stupidly bright lights (2 bastids seemed to the be the norm!) and ace trails.

Another contender. Your username is interesting if you;re a firefighter.

And I've tiled most of the bathroom

Impressive. Has reminded me that I prepped and painted the garage door on my lunch breaks, which was also very mildly awesome.

Thats not on. You should support your local bike business because of course h4muf's supported him with money and free bike bits when he was out of work.

Nothing earth shattering... But a big personal achievement is riding my mountain bike for the first time in 4 months. I haven't been offroad for ages and needed to smell the mountains and get some mental health biking! Ticked the box taking Monday off and going to Wales for the day.

Ahhhh bisto

I guess you had to be there, but it felt pretty awesome.
