Was watching Bruce Parry's Arctic thing the other night and they said that it was Greenland. Surely Australia is bigger than Greenland though? So what island is it?
it's more of a continent

We're an 'Island Continent'... 'tis a trick question innit?
Australia is a landmass not an island. If you want to include landmasses, then Australia isn't the largest.
I know which one thinks it is sometimes.
But Oceania is the name of the continent is it not?
And Afro-Eurasia is the biggest landmass.
When does an island become a land mass? (seriously)

Depends if you're using a Mercator or Peters projection map as a reference. 🙂
