Just dropped my old tablet (Alcatel pixi 10.1) whilst it was plugged in and gubbed the micro USB port so its no longer charging.
Main uses are for web browsing, youtube, note taking in one note and navigation whilst on the boat - so needs inbuilt GPS.
Also, it could run Zwift that'd be pretty cool. Quite like the 10.1 size and prefer to stay with Android, although may consider moving over to windows device.
As the Christmas sales will be coming soon, whats the device with keeping an eye out for a good deal on?

On a similar vein, are Chromebooks decent these days for what I'm looking for?

A quick/cheap fix is one of those NFC chargers if it'll take it. Less than a tenner on evilBay.
Ahh, sadly the broken tablet doesn't accept NFC - would of been a good fix if it did though!
Don't think you can run zwift on android yet can you? Admittedly I've not looked for a few months
Having used both, I'd replace the tablet with a Chromebook!
