I used to use Google Alerts to monitor for text like "PSA" on this site so that I'd get an email through when someone posted a PSA etc but Google alerts no longer sends emails out for some reason.

What other free tools do you use for this?

I monitor the country's GDP, anytime theres a dip in economic output its likely the result of a 1000 post argument. When output recovers it means theres been a bit of Ban Hammer action and the forum will be worth reading again for a while

I use Eyen, it's great. Never misses a thing and it's really easy to use and free.

Interested in finding out more about Eyen, but ironically when I searched I couldn't find it.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

Perhaps it's a typo of "eyes"?

Good point but I still can't find something that sounds like what is described - I am quite interested in this for a variety of purposes.

You mean, people actually actively monitor STW?

Usually it's "PSA there's something or other on the telly tonight"

Obviously highly critical time-sensitive stuff ...
