Yeh , I know, next I'll be asking how I should wipe my arse 🙄

Thing is, my missus bought a WHSmith one recently and it is ****, with a capital F (can't even do 4 sheets better than 50% of the time)

Given that I imagine it's made by some giant stapler factory in Taiwan and flogged out to loads of brands (possibly with different outer plastic cladding) I'm keen to avoid repeating the error. Now I'm not about to scour the stationers of the south coast for a test run of all brands, so I throw myself at your feet, stw:

Who makes/sells good staplers ?

(octoporn welcomed, as always)

You may want to try the Rexel Impaler or the Rexel Eviscerator too.

Surely the secret is to use sharper staples?

Mine are hardened with titanium (one of the hardest metals known to man) and coated with serum to help them glide in.

Nothing is proven to be more effective. 😉

not really.

its the obvious place to look for the "ammo" but not so much the tool itself

Had one of these electric jobbies form Rexel- they do a hole punch and tape dispenser as well. Struggle with more than two bits of paper, mind

you'll be excited to hear I bought 2x rexel pulsar off ebay - suspiciously cheap, but we'll* see

*Full review to follow - any particular aspects to cover (grades of paper, fabric, flesh) ?

(it's a special easy-action design for the limp of wrist, so of course that'll feature)
