I use my mobile as a sat nav and need a decent holder and charger: Any recommendations?
The phone is an HTC One, although I am due for an upgrade next month so this could change. Are there any good universal ones?
I have always found Brodit to be really good, you buy the universal base clip then the relevant attachment for your phone.
The neatest ones I have seen.
Yep brodit is the answer. Got one in my golf and its perfect.
For something cheap and works really well, I have a dash genie V2. It's excellent and so simple.

Another vote for brodit, had on my mk6 as an air vent mounted, sat nab style and in my mk7 for a charging cradle. Both were / are great
Cheers folks. Those Brodits aren't cheap, are they?
Loddrik: Those aren't compatible with the HTC One as it has a curved back.

I have one of these in each of my cars. It does the job very well.
I got a Brodit bracket that slotted around an air vent. I then got a £5 phone holder off ebay, and took the clamp off that and attached it to the brodit bracket with some 3M adhesive strips.
It's rock solid and cost about £20-25. And I can stick any phone in it, rather than having a specific mount for a specific phone.
