What do you recommend?

Just for the kitchen.

Doesn't need any bells or whistles - don't need to stream anything to it. We just want to switch it on and listen!

Ta!

'Twas £30.00 a couple of weeks ago, but still great for £45.00.

Pure One Mini. I bought one for my wife some years ago and have bought two more since, one of which was for her technically-challenged parents.

Does DAB, FM and also has a line-in should you change your mind and want to stream via e.g. a Chromecast Audio.
