And why?
Timex digital watch - cheap, strong, accurate, big numbers, and cheap!
None
I'm rarely interested in knowing more than the approximate time
A cheap Casio (£25 ish) & only for work where I need to know the time. Very rarely wear my other watch.
rip curl tidemaster.
bought it about 15yrs ago and its still going.
Casio G Shock, because I've just bought it.
none at the mo if I do it is a ceramic Rado
Why cos I am worth it 😉
None
Work- Nixon rotor log in wood finish. Looks cool and no other reason.
Pleasure- Casio G shock. Nothing needs to be said.
£12.99 one from Decathlon. 😀
Skin past bone at the moment, just bought a rubber strap ( 😉 ) for my real watch to make it more "wearable"
What: Skagen
Why: I like the look of it, it's comfy and it tells the time.
Casio G-Shock.
swatch - really, it's got a leather strap and a tasteful pale face, not what you'd expect from swatch...
Fossil, also have a Tag, a Tissot, an Animal and a Casio. I like watches me.
Casio G-Shock, 'cos it's cheap, strong and not bling.
Guess.
Fossil - analogue with date and metal strap, classic yet up to date styling, and I got it 30 quid cheaper than the best price I could find just by asking for a discount in the shop!

Theres clocks EVERYWHERE so who needs one anyway?

CWC - issued.
Stowa. Because.
G shock
Blackberry in my pocket.
Theres clocks EVERYWHERE so who needs one anyway?
I do, to:
Time myself at swimming
Check the time when I'm out on the bike and can't see a clock anywhere
Check the time when I can't see a clock anywhere, like, on the Tube or a bus or something
Quite useful actually. And there aren't as many clocks around as there used to be. Cos more people have watches/mobile 'phones and that.
Citizen Eco-Drive. Ticked all the boxes and was being sold for silly money.
G Shock for riding and Tag for everything else.
Got the Tag 11 years ago when my son was born and fulfilled a life long want. And it was ultimately cheaper than buying a fake every year from the looky-lookys on holidays.
G Shock is an excellent watch. Looks good and is tough as old boot. No idea what half the things on it do though....
Garmin Forerunner 110. Because it measures my runs and tells the time.
It needs charging up about every week or two but its a great watch

Suunto. A lot more expensive than your Casios, but not in the same league as the posh watches. Tells me how hard I'm working, how much I've climbed, how fast I'm going (not that useful sitting in the office, but I cba changing watches to do sport).
Ebel Cassic Hexagon Power Reserve.
Because it is a stunning watch.

I also have a Swatch Metal but dont wear it much
Torgoen- why not
G-Shock for biking, camping and stuff.
Nixon for work and disco dancing.
Late Grandads 35 year old Rotary for posh.
none man.. cos time is just a way that the man enslaves you man.. and that timepiece on your wrist is just a symbol of your obedience to the man.. man..
and if you have an expensive timepiece it just shows the level of your subservience to the man.. like the amount of time you were willing to sacrifice to the man in your attempt to look like the man.. man
man up ferchrissakes and stare mystically at the sky like a real man does when he wants to know what time it is..

MWC G10 - not issued
Swatch Irony Chrono, it works what else does a watch need to do?
Citizen Eco drive as I trashed every other watch I've had within a year so thought I'd try spending a bit more. Got it for £85 from Argos down for £150 so seemed worth a go. I've managed to chip the glass after about a year though it still works fine and doesn't leak.
A Seiko that was given to me for a birthday by my parents back in the 1980s. It's got a very subtle class to it that I like: extremely thin profile, black leather strap, white face with Roman numerals.
It was in the $400 range even then.
Not that it matters... 😉
IWC Aquatimer for everything.
Fancy Sunnato tho for riding
G-Shock for every day.
Seamaster for posh. Same age as me.
man up ferchrissakes and stare mystically at the sky like a real man does when he wants to know what time it is..
But what if it's cloudy? Or you live in Scotland?
😕
The original Seiko Auto Relay watch. £450 when new but got it on ebay for £50. Does the cool goes to sleep thing if not worn for 4 days then wakes up to correct time.

It's a Seiko that wakes up to the correct time you say?
one on my mobile.
1977 Rolex submariner plexi dome that's been beaten up over the years. G-shock strapped to my camelbak when I'm out on the bike.
I tell the time by the topics on here.
This one comes around every 4.45 months. By triangulating with the last appearance 'where does your username come from' and 'should we split the UK', combined with when someone last posted a video of Danny Madskills and how long RudeElfinFredBra's latest incarnation has been on here I can be accurate to within 2 or 3 minutes.
Origo Granite
Timex for work , Skagen Titanium for nice. I usually forget to change the work one though 🙄
Generally my JLC Reverso for work.
I'm wearing my niche German brand, Benarus at the moment.
"cos time is just a way that the man enslaves you man"
Holiday time is nice, when no-one expects anything of you, and you just follow your whims, stare at clouds and return home when you feel like it.
The best things I remember about my childhood
A cracked, scratched and wildly unreliable Seiko Kinetic.
Because I've always worn it since my parents bought me it for my 16th birthday, over 20 years ago. Worthless and priceless.
Oris Titan Diver..cos I like it.
Currently got on a slightly modified Seiko 'spork' - it's been beadblasted and fitted with a Di Modell Chronissimo strap to make it look even more like a Sinn.
I've also got a Seamaster 'Bond' for wearing when it's not likely to get trashed, and a few other bits and pieces lying around in my watch drawer. Quite drawn to a Hamilton in the near future - hoping my wife might take the hint around birthday time.
I've got a really basic Casio digital watch that cost under £10.
I only own a watch as I need one for work, otherwise I wouldn't bother.
What: A rolex datejust limited.
Why?: I enjoy people assuming it's fake, I enjoy being told I got ripped off.
Is it? Were you?
I used to wear a fake Tag for the exact opposite reason.
No and no

That's what I am wearing as well and likewise I bought it from ebay.
I did not wear for about 10 months last year and just left it in my drawer and then when I took it out and wore it again the watch sprang back into life and the hands moved around to the correct time.
I was quite impressed, but it did not change the date though which was a bit of a let down 😉
I'll get a G-Shock at some point, but for now, this is fine-
Ten quids worth of Casio's finest:

Tag Heuer Aquaracer 500m. Best money I have ever spent.
Just gave the son a Tag Heuer Formula 1.
Looking at buying a Tag Heuer Monaco for my 40th next year.
I like Tag Heuer.
Polar something or other.
I don't wear a watch. They just stop when I do so I gave up wearing them. Mechanical, digital, wrist watch . pocket watch. cheap, expensive they all stop.
I have a few watches, but day to day its a swatch watch i got while on hols in corfu about 6 years ago, its a proper one and does the job for work.
Biking and general days off i have a G-Shock the other half got me 2 years ago, great watch. For posh days out i have a DKNY nice proper watch, rarely gets worn these days.
G-shock with tide readings as we used to live on a boat and I like to kayak, has a titanium back (pointless bling :D).
Looks chunky but subtle and hopefully everything proof.
Because I kept breaking watches!
Same as uplink here.
IWC. It was my 40th birthday present, bought in Hong Kong on the way to our "holiday of a lifetime" in NZ. I like it because very few people know what it is, unlike the average TAG / Rolex / Breitling (not to say these are not fine watches). I think it's quality without ostentation, and it has sentimental value to me due to the memories from our trip. I don't intend to buy another watch (apart from the occasional disposable).
A seiko that does all time zone wizardry. it works.
Omega Seamaster 'for best'
Casio G Shock for all manly pursuits! GRRRR!
Omega Seamaster - planet ocean. Why: Can't beat a classic watch with black face that Bond wears.
G shock for biking though.
Do like oxnop's Tag though.....hmmm
had a cheapo casio in SILVER. ooh!. but it fell off somewhere in Asda carpark 🙁
Seiko divers. love it to bits!

Presumably they give up arguing with you about what time it is. 😉
