I have a cylindrical piece of wood I want to make into a handle for something. To do that I need an M6 bolt to stick out of the centre of the end (i.e the centre of the circular cross section) of the bit of wood.
What's the easiest way to do that, some kind of captive wotsit?
Yes, one of those! Perfect, thanks.
I've got about 46 of these left from a project:

They go in a hole using an Allen key and then m6 bolt screws in. If you want a couple pm me and I'll put the in the post.

As long as everybody's consenting, fine with me.
Drill the correct size hole for it, or the shaft can split.
£Land 2-pack epoxy makes it permanent. Screw it in, then out, then epoxy and back in again.
