This just landed next to me and I've never seen one before.
I'd google it but wouldn't know what to type.
Is it some sort of moth?

...from the Pterophoridae, or [url= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plume_moth ]Plume Moth[/url], family.

Yeah that looks a lot like it.
Strange that they are pretty common but ive never seen one before.

Funny. Was reading daughters bedtime story earlier and we noticed one on the bedroom wall. We both hadn't seen one before.
