Scum. I used to have a little budgie, as a kid; they make lovely pets. Very sociable little creatures, and very intelligent, too. And they have their own little personalities. So I can understand the poor lady's grief. That is absolutely disgusting. Anyone who is capable of doing something as callous and needless as that, should not be walking around with decent people.
