Can anyone tell me what the name is when you use a numbered footnote, and that number is not normal but comes out small and higher up than the rest of the text? I am having a formatting problem in Mac Pages, but have not been able to find anything in google as to how to convert a normal number to one of those little ones, as I can't remember the technical word for them.
Sorry to be obscure and tedious, but any help appreciated.

I think its a superscript number.

Cheers - that's the one. I have now found how to edit each of my footnotes manually, but I can't find out how to create a new footnote style using that. But yeah, cheers for your help!
