Nestle Crunch - blue.
Used to be anything by cadburys, but I expect that will go to the wall now ๐
the green boost bars you used to get with guarana (sp?) inside
the cabana was my fave too
and almond yorkies, though I may have imagined them
Straight unadulterated Lion Bar thank you.
Although a Spira holds a certain charm for the extruded nature.
Wispa for pure chocolate fluff but...
A simple bar of Bourneville, mmmmmm.
Texan bar was the best!
Willies chocolate, from waitrose...is bloomin fantastic! You know, te chap with the choc farm in south america
Drifter. can never bloody find them now though...
Everyday - ToffeeCrisp (+ tea)
Special - Lily O'Brien bar, sticky-toffee centre...
I used to like the big Wham bars in the early 80s - far bigger than ones I've seen more recently.
As for Texan bars - I thought they were my all time favourite until they brought them back for a short while a few years ago - they were rubbish but were they really the same thing?
Dipped Flake or its illegitimate offspring, the Twirl.
Mars bar... from the 70's not the imitation rubbish they sell now.

I was thinking along similar lines. I thought they were great when I was 6. But I suspect now, over 30 years later, I would be less impressed.
Perhaps I've grown up a bit and my tastes have matured. Unlikely I know.
As BMitch, Cabana, frys cream, topic, golden cup, icebreaker, cream egg,any of the thorntons bars, lees mint choc chip.
I used to love an Aztec bar, never seen them for at least 20years, very fond of a Milky Bar now.
A few votes for the coffee Walnut Whip, surprised I'm not on my own there - I quite often am when it comes to taste in food! ๐
M&S do their version of Coffee Walnut whips, they're very nice not quite the same but still lovely.
When I want chocolate, I want chocolate, not chocolate and nuts, or chocolate and coconut or somesuch rubbish.
Just simple Dairy Milk. The bestest.
Drac - don't tell me that!!!!! ๐
I prefer it as a nostalgic memory
Yes, chocolate; which none of the above, actually is.

Dime Bars - still remember the ads with Harry Enfield with fondness.
When I was last in Oz, I discovered cherry ripe bars - the nearest thing you'll find to cabana bars nowadays. You can buy them over here (australia shop do them over the net), but they are expensive (about a quid each, I think) ๐
Come on nobody has said 'Banjo Bars' yet, got to be in the top 3!
Bendicks Sporting and Military. Now sadly never to be seen again. ๐
+2 for Starbar... can you still get them ?
Peanut butter twix, sadly unavailable in this country
Peanut Butter Lion Bar!
I think i need to try one of these
I usually go for a Double Decker (ahem)
The Maverick was the best. Why did they stop making them?
ebygomm - sadly unavailable on these shores nowadays too. But always my choice over the peanut buter kit-kat chunky when that was about.
For the king of all 70's bars - Amazin (Its amazin what rasins can do..). I think a yellow and purple wrapper.
Aztec a very close 2nd
twirl for me with an expresso on the side - lush
tries a snickers more nuts at a moment of weakness the other day - recommended ๐
sometimes simply a Mars bar
why is there a chocolate ban in my house???????????????????????? ๐ฅ
I like a Boost, but kit kat chunky is up there too!
+1 Starbar - only tried my first one a few months back, lush!
When I was at school we used to spend our dinner money either on a big bag of chips or several Aztec bars. Sometimes I used to spend my bus fare on Aztecs and walk the 3 miles home. They were 9d. I think.
Fry's 5 Boys, Fry's 5 Centres, Those Milk Tray bars - all good. Spira make me feel sick.
These days I can still overdose on Creme Eggs, but for a sophisticated evening nothing beats sitting in front of the fire, sipping espresso and a malt whisky and eating a square of Cadbury's Dairy Milk and a square of Bournville at the same time.
+2 for Starbar... can you still get them ?
Yep, just eaten one! ๐
One of my favourite's has to be Almond Snickers - dont thinik you can get them in the UK, i only ever saw/ate them in NZ.
Or Bournville. Brumidgum's original.
Cadburys Snack Biscuits, very addictive and just about to have a mini pack of them now
Fondly remember getting the reject ones (Cadbury Fingers too)on a stall down Walthamstow Market
Usually missing a bit of chocolate here and there or a corner broken off
Great big bag for a quid, didn't help my weight too much
Anyone remember Cadbury's mis-shapes?

I think I've seen them in France. Closer than NZ.
I can remember Almond Mars Bars over here, years ago now though.
Fry's chocolate cream!
Yup kind of agree with Double Decker, boost too sweet but definately NOT a kitkat they are THE dullest chocolate bar in the world!!!
A biscuit boost is pretty hard to beat although the mention of drifters has made me want one of those!
Anybody remember Terrys Pyramint? There was some other bar we used to have as Kids - think it was called a Blitz, it was chocolate with crunchy orange or mint flavoured bits in.
double decker
Double Decker.
