Don't ask why I need to ask but a nice translation would be useful.

I am sorry does NOT translate to anything relating to mothers or butt plugs. A simple I am sorry is fine.

I thought pieni penis was one of those little Italian breads.

Expecting a sensible answer on here was perhaps a little optimistic.
And I can't help, either. Sorry.

I know Kitos is thank you.

It's the only word of Finnish Iknow, but I gets me by for my holidays.

I could count to 3, but I was frankly buggered the day I needed to buy 4 bus tickets. Got to love Finnish as a language. First Bar I ever went into tried to order 2 beers, and after a comedy pantomime, ended up with gin and tonic.

Great place though, like Germany, without Germans.

Have to say I amazed by the fluency of the STW collective mind in Finnish, even ignoring the cheating native. Iamsporticus if you'd swapped muna for penis you might have got away with that.

Cheers guys. It worked. She served me beer again tonight and agreed not to play any more Bryan Adams*.

*I think I might have said something nasty to her about what I would do if she ever played another one of his 'missing you' style love songs while I am stuck in Switzerland missing Mrs WCA in the UK

I dimly recall that "kippis" is Finnish for "cheers".

And I had some Karhu skis that had a picture of a bear on.
