Not normally a coffee drinker (apart from my student days) but did SITS solo at the weekend and I'm back in work tomorrow so I reckon I'll need it!
Got a Tescos down the road so anyone got any recommendations from there for instant coffee?

Get some of the Starbucks instant sachets - tastes really good - pretty much like fresh coffee.

dear god millicano is just overpriced guff - might as well buy kenco dark similar gash taste - if your in aberdeen i have most of a tub of millicano sat on my desk you can have ....
douwe egberts isnt "bad" for an instant but like threefish says one mans java is another mans bisto ....
but millicano is just really overpriced for what it is - i bought it thinking itd be like starbucks instants and its not ... and dont get me started on the price of starbucks instants !

Kenco Millicano..... Sweet Zombie Jesus no...... bloody awful,cheapo nasty rubbish well packaged.Even for instant it's pretty poor and extrememly overpriced.
At a pinch I will drink almost any coffee if pushed and desperate, the Millicano went straight in the bin about halfway through the first cup and I spent the rest of the day drinking my own urine instead.
Trailrat, just woken up after nights. Drinking exactly what you've pointed out...from the exact same model of cafetere.
Nescafe Alta Rica is the only instant I've tried I like, that Kenco Millicano stuff is absolute gutter water. As part of it is non-instant coffee you have to use twice as much to get a normal strength 'coffee' and the non-instant part doesn't dissolve so you get shite at the bottom of the cup. And it doesn't even taste nice (and certainly no closer to a non instant coffee)
Alta Rica is my faveorate too. I didn't think Milicano was that bad, if I'd have seen the advert first I'd have perhaps not bothered trying it.

My Tesco Cafetiere is sitting on the desk at the moment, fully charged and ready to go.
i save the java lava for special occasions - stick to lazy sunday or cafe brazillia when im at work .... how ever i was at macbeans on thursday so have a bag of their "brazil" freshly ground coffee to drink just now 😀
