[Closed] What exactly is 'a police incident' (M6 Birmingham content)

So last night we sat in traffic for a long, long time trying to get past Birmingham. The M6 had been closed in Birmingham due to a Police Incident

So what sort of thing normally constitutes a police incident? Are we talking James Bond type stuff (suppose I should know), or is it likely to be something more mundane like one of the coppers dropped his wedding ring in the carriageway when attending a breakdown and a fingertip search of the M6 was required to reunite the pair of them?

I'm in the north west and the local motorway police often tweet out " police incident " and most of the time it's someone on a bridge who they are talking down.

Can be anything I suppose. Suicide attempt, animals on road, collision, police stopping a person.

Will you always get an answer? No chance.

Anything involving the Police but they don't want to tell the press just yet. Simple really.
