about 15 miles of stormy North Sea in every direction. Beryl-A and Beryl-B platforms if the weather's nice, and some Norwegian ones if I go along the walkway a wee bit.

I see an Adonis staring back, he moves when I move, he is the same height as me, same features as me, I think it is me but its dark outside so cannot be sure ...

Gardens, and the backs of houses. It's quite pretty, really.

Not a window as such, but from the cafe on Moselstrasse, I'm getting a good view of the hotel through the night vision goggles.

The girls outside FKK Miami are cold. They are wearing long padded coats and when someone walks past who looks interested they unzip them to show off their goods and then zip up the coats again quickly.

Also there was a mad woman stood screaming at a lamppost for a while, then a drunk bloke got off the floor and charged towards her, she ran away and fell over, he charged straight past, carried on running for about 20 yards and then stopped, looked around and sat back down. Quite sad but mildly amusing

I can see some guy looking out the window of his hotel room, you know the type - looks a bit sad and lonely. The type that thinks he's important because he travels to different places with his job and finds any excuse to tell everyone all about it - you know 'what's out the window', 'lost luggage', etc. I think you know the type.

Of course I can't really see him, I just know he's there.

If I was important I would get other people to fly.

I post this sh1t in here so I can communicate in English rather than spending the whole night in the bar or Video Kebab. Trust me, traveling around Europe is not glamerous or particularly fun.

Directly out side is a main road - Past that the moors and Brown Wardle, out the back (if i press my face up close to the window and squint) i can just see Healey Dell nature reserve.

The best part of living here is the sound of the boy racers in their "Corsa-ghini's" braking for the speed camera's and flooring it away.

I've got a school and a church outside my window. Not quite the up-market neighbourhood WCA is currently in.

Mind, there's still the odd young lady or two wandering about (they never seem to have watches, these ladies, for some reason...)

And I live above an offie!

Guess where I'm going, right now? (No, it doesn't involve acting out the embodiment of the Speaking Clock..)

I can see a few parked cars, the silhouettes of some trees in the badly lit park and a white fence. Beyond that it is completely black as it is the English channel.
The view isnt much on a winters evening but at this time of year I get some pretty good sunrises before heading off to work and in the summer being close to the beach really comes into its own

A dark cloud of recession interspersed with black holes of debt.

There's a glimmer on the horizon, but it might be the bailiff's torch.

I look out to Lac Léman, including the mountains in France & on a good day i can just make out the water jet in Geneva. Cant see Mont Blanc from the office, but can do if its clear when i come into work..

River Lyon, top end of the Tay valley a couple of my local singletrack descents and... suddenly its all disappeared in a blizzard

I have a choice. Out of "this" window, I can see a car park with a couple of trees in the middle of it. Out of "that" window, I can see a slightly larger car park that does not have trees in it, but has them round it.

If I go to the kitchen, the big windows there allow me to see a Truman Show-esq eco-town, some council offices and a big field with nothing in it.

I like that view because, if I look right down the middle, I don't see the houses or the offices, and the field makes it look like I'm not at work.

I've got a view of a couple of blocks of flats and today a tree crew taking down a couple of maples ( won't improve my view )

on the other side of the building they've got views of Geneve , the lake, and the alps beyond.

I have the view of fields leading up to the M26 and beyond that the M20, can't see them really just the odd car zooming through the tree line from about 1 mile away, oh and the pilgrims way is there somewhere.

The Copley Massif mountain range, with the snow clad Norland plateau at the top. Also featuring world famous trails such as the Copley Climb, Donkey Drop, and the Wireworks Wobble running pretty much to the door.

I ate in a fantastic restaurant in Warsaw a couple of years ago. Best out of all the European places I've worked in. Couldn't tell you what it was called though, just that it rained and we arrived very wet.

Our abandoned on the balcony christmas tree is obscuring my view of the canal and pedestrian bridge over said canal.

Darkened offices across the atrium - all the previous occupants have been credit crunched. I only get reflected natural light in my office, and the ceiling light means my head casts a shadow over my desk.

But, then again, it could be worse: I could be in a lonely hotel in Frankfurt contemplating a meal for one in a local kebab shop whilst trying not to be caught bringing a hooker back up to my room....

I look out over the top of the building on Peebles High Street towards Dun Rig and the hills towards Moffat, the other way I can see the hills at Glentress and towards the Southern Upland Way and the Minch Muir. Sounds idyllic doesnt it? Pity my job is f*cking rubbish really 🙁

I can see the south Lakes fells currently bathed under golden sunlight.

It was hailing a wee while ago.

And I can't go out as I am waiting for UPS to deliver my laptop that has been away for repairs 🙁

Horrid dirty buildings inside an Italian steelworks.

Flaming noisy too, with all the big vehicles trundling around.

No riding my bike until I get home either 🙁

From the office window and on a good day i can see Tinto Hill in the east, all along the clyde vally from Hamilton through Galsgow to Glenifer braes above Paisley. Used to be able to see the Campsie fells from another window but some numb nut built a ****in big warehouse in front of the view.

Today it's raining and i can see clouds.

Haven't had a window most of today - have had to put up with the view of the inside of a swimming pool (with some nice slim young teachers/assistants arriving to help with their classes' swimming lessons), or the view of a duck pond. I suppose in between times I had a view of lots of other cars driving past. Now have a view out onto the nice big paved area at the end of our cul-de-sac, where shortly there will probably be a 2 year old boy playing on his Rothan with his dad.

I hate Tuesdays.

WCA - Ah..Mainhattan. Some good memories of getting royally trollied on business trips there. Get out and explore.
Currently however I can see a 'woman', who has more wrinkles than Keith Richards, and worse teeth than Shane McGowan, touting for business outside Manchester Piccadilly station. [shudder]

Nearest window is about 10m away and its tiny. Overlooks Adult World in Brum. Rubbish!

A shingle beach, huge container ships, fishing boats, two light houses, a martello tower AND a miniature railway. (and sometimes France).

oh, and a sewage works, a bird watchers hut, a pub, and maybe 5000 tons of wood if the wind stays a sowesterly.
