Mrs Gob has wrecked another phone.
Looking for a replacement for about £200.
Should I go s/h or cheap Chinese?
I've just bought a Moto G7 Plus to replace an ageing Huawei P9 Lite.
A bit heavy on battery but otherwise okay. Might be worth a look.
Just bought one of these:
Bit chunky, but seems to do the job and for £100 can't really go wrong
Have a look at Wileyfox phones.
Dunno what their current prices are bit my wife got an awesome phone for under £200 a while ago.
An SE iphone is real cheap nowadays.
I have an SE 32GB. Purchased a month or so ago in minty condition for like what £97 posted off MusicMagpie ebay store.
Really chuffed!
Just buy errrr it get it done then surprise her then thank me later. 😉👍
Oh plus my one had and still does 100% battery health
For £200 you'll be hard pushed to beat this:

Or a 6S if you want a bigger screen/flatter phone, but basically the same. I prefer the 6S size, Miss5556 likes her SE.
Nokia 6.1 or 7.1. They are Android One, so mostly standard Android, and should get some updates.
Arghhhh avoid Android like the digital plague!
Avoid Apple cause ya know haterz gunna h8

I had massive issues with a Nokia 8, although I think some of the others are better. It was enough to switch me over to Apple after about 10 years of being a die hard Android user.
Another vote for Blackview. BV9000 Pro, IP-68 rated, great battery life... Ebay or Amazon.
Sorry for the slight hijack but I bought a very similar phone to the Blackview that's being recommended, an AGM A8.For the first month or so it was fine but then I started being bombarded with pop-up ads every time I switched it on. It sometimes takes a minute of fiddling with the tiny x's to get rid of them, most of the time I'm redirected to a facebook link. It takes so long that I'm unable to answer incoming calls in time. The ads are fairly innocent, showing babies or girls in bikinis but it's driving me mad. Can anyone advise, preferrably in words of 1 syllable, how I can rid myself of this?
Honor view 20. Doable for £249 on O2 refresh.
Huge spec. 6.4" / 128GB / fast. 48Mpx camera.
Very impressed and I've owned several moto Gs.
Was 500 earlier in year.
