The powers that be at work have bestowed upon me the privilege of choosing some sort of bean to cup coffee machine for the office. But I've not really a clue where to start.

Here's what I reckon we need:

Something with decent sized water and bean reserves so you don't have to frequently refill[/*]

No milk frothing. Extra unnecessary stuff to wrong and clean. We just need something that makes good espresso and americanos.[/*]

Ideally should be around £200-£500[/*]
Most of the ones I have seen have milk bits and small reserves.

Any ideas? Cheers!

Suppose it's got to be one of these! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001EOMZ5E/ref=twister_B019FHUMV0?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

1.8l water tank. If you have a hunt you can get plumbed in machines but they tend to be leased.

We have one of those at home. Not sure how well it would stand up to a busy office (last one died after 3 years in a home with 4 big coffee drinkers, but we did look after it - descaling etc as required).

Having said that they are brilliant machines and we are now on our second

Check reviews for amount of maintenance. Some bean to cups seem to need immense amount of cleaning and faffing almost per cup, plus take so long just to produce one cup.

At home it may be less of an issue, but in an office with regular use you might want to look at something office suitable (possibly a lot more expensive).
