Sounds like an opportunity for an important life lesson to be learnt.

Hmmmm

I gave stoner Jr Sr my old chinese 7" android pad for xmas last year. He or his partner in crime (Stoner Jr Jr) broke the screen last week.

I can repair it for £11.

His little brother is ready for a tablet this xmas. Ive been toying with some of the cheap Archos old skool ones on morgancomputers, but the reviews are terrible.

I think it would make most sense replacing the screen on the Ainol (now, really, that's it's name) and get another fairly decent A8 cortex one for Jr Sr....

Theyre both getting two of my old netbooks with a kids linux build on as well.

I expect them to either destroy them in 48hrs, or master them sufficiently to steal $10bn from JPMorgan headquarters by New Year's day.

Apple store appointment and ask nicely?

My son got a new one after a few months because of missing pixels (I know it's not the same).

Lifeproof type cases ftw.

Don't make the devices bomb proof but worth the money for the occasional drop etc.

Apple store appointment and take the daughter. Peel an onion outside the shop first.
