Looked like a racing accident to me. If you're gonna punish Kimi for that, they should've punished Webber for Hamilton's puncture in the last race.
Agree, Webber should have had a grid-drop for this race.
Kimi cleared but Renault look like they fell foul of the latest knee-jerk reaction from the stewards
Hard to see how they couldn't do something though given the nature of the Surtees & Massa crashes

The stewards are idiots.
if, as indicated, the team did not tell Alonso that his wheel was not properly fitted and he continued to race, I think they'd be lucky to not be suspended for longer.
my 2p is non-refundable, thanks
The stewards are idiots.
How so? For suspending Renault for sending a car out on the track in a dangerous condition (given recent and previous incidents, seeing a wheel bouncing down the track like that is rather scary)?
Does Alonso have a break-clause in his contract?
[cough] Ferrari drive [/cough]
That's hardly a breaking rumour hora
He has car performance clauses but [as with a lot of sports] there's no point keeping someone who doesn't want to be there
Also, Ferrari would need to pay off one of their drivers as they're both contracted beyond this year, but again, that's easily done
Ferrari/Alonso will happen - the only remaining question is 2010 or 2011?
Well I reckon 2010 will see Kimi out so it'd still make sense. I want to see Alonso and Hamilton in equal machinery with no team interference.
I assumed Hora was suggesting Alonso might want to get a single race drive for his home GP, and that there might be a vacant seat in a Ferrari for that race...
IF ONLY!
Marc Gene and Luca Badoer would I think, have more than an opinion about Alonso doing some stints in the spare seat... 😀
There's also a certain retired German...
