Hi all, what's the weather and ground conditions like currently in Peebles and glentress areas. We're meant to be camping jup there at teh weekend but the forecast is piutting me off.
Snowing. Still. 50cm in my back yard.
Might melt by the weekend but your problem them will be flooding, as the rivers were quite high last week already.
Which campsite ?
am not camping.. I will be riding there on Fri and Sat.. what are the trails like???
Wet soulrider - very wet.
I can't speak for the trails as bolloxed if I'm leaving the house today, but past experience would suggest they are snow covered. Try the seven stanes website Andy is quite good at updating it.

Rosetta is just up the road from me so you can assume decent snow cover. The approach from the town is just driveable I wouldn't try the back road unless there is significant thaw by the weekend.
