I have a Ripcurl ATS watch, Ripcurl want £25 to replace the battery and pressure test the seal. Is there anywhere I can send it that might be cheaper but still do the pressure test etc?

Try a jeweller? Or have a look yourself?

Many are an easy replacement, Polars for instance.

I always send my (Animal) watch back to Animal, that way if it leaks it's their fault and they'll waranty it. Don't think it cost as much as that though.

All depends on what the watch is worth and if you wear it for (water) sports or not.

Thanks - yep £25 includes a 2 year warranty on the battery and seal. Back it goes to Ripcurl then. It does see some watersport activity.

Took my watch back to the jewellers. Costing me 50 quid to get it pressure checked and the battery changed. 25 quid doesn't sound to bad to me lol.

I took mine to a local shop who did it while-you-wait. Wasn't a great deal cheaper than you've been quoted though, seems reasonable to me.
