**** me, just watching the local news.
A 15 year old lad died from climbing a electricity pylon, and guess what got electrocuted...alot
Now they want better warning signs putting up on all pylons as Michael didn't know pylons are bad for your health. Leave them unprotected and encourage the gene pool I say.
and it caused his nan to have a heart attack............... 😉
Lets face it the more warning signs you have the more chance a 15 year old lad is going to ignore them.

d'oh. Zeds beaten me to it.
BTW Zed, how did the web at work thing pan out in the end?
Kids not old enough to know better should be supervised properly. Kids old enough to know about pylons should be given adequate warning (a sign, as exists already) and then should be left to it.grrrrrr
can't go in to too much detail obviously. But a lot of red faces, it's not quite over yet but let's just say I'll be alright...
do post in here when it's safe to do so.
I love a good denouement I do. 🙂
I was one of the "gang of kids" who broke in yesterday.
Sorry Jiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyy
Or like the ****tard who they found in Essex dead next to a pile of cable he was nicking from the railway.......cutting through a live one not a good idea. 😀
"there's a good case for removing the warning labels from everything and waiting for the population to stabilise"

...or to put it another way, bassspine, 'think of it as evolution in action'.
What more do people need than signs saying Danger 20000 Volts.
I read in the paper recently that on his radio show, Alan Carr told a woman who was calling in but with poor reception to "go and climb the nearest pylon". Apparently he had to subsequently retract it on air. This was post Brand/Ross though so the Beeb are a bit jumpy.
