i need some very wide shoes, or 1 anyway.
since i had my ankle fused, my ankle dont move at all. my foot flexes more in the fore foot area. this has caused my foot to become very wide (5'' wide across the widest area).
mosy shoes are now too narrow. cycling shoes are completely out of the question.

today i tried a pair of Keen boots on. they fit. so i am about to hit the buy button on a pair if Keen targhee shoes, for riding and general wear.

anyone suffer from troll feet? what do you wear

Looked at lake, Frodo? 😀
They have a fit guide in their site and do a wide fit.

I've got pretty wide feet, Keen are OK. OMX (Go Outdoors own brand) and Lowa are another couple of brands that seem to do some pretty wide fitting shoes. Lowa stuff is generally pretty nice. Pricier though.

I think Shimano do a range for wider feet as well...

Brasher, Keen, Altberg or Hanwag seem to fit me fine.

Lancashire Sports Repairs usually have something cheap from one of those brands, so worth trying a cheap pair before spending a fortune?

Worth enduring a shopping mall (yeah, I know...) and trying some of the various Doc Martens/AirWair offerings. They do some chukka boot type things which are super comfy for the troll-footed amongst us. Pricey like, but they last an age.

They’re the very ones I got a few weeks ago. Have hardly walked in anything else since. They’re so bloody comfy.

It's why I love the Keen sandals. They don't squish my feet.
