I assume someone here must have been to Vegas at some point!
I’m due to be out there for my honeymoon in the middle of August as part of a San Fran/Yosemite/Hawaii trip over 3 weeks and I wonder if anyone could recommend a good place to take my (to be then) wife for a meal and night out as it would also be her birthday while we are there.
My Pal has just returned from Vegas. (won a holiday) She recommends the dune buggy driving experience and the Machine Gun shooting range.
Stay somewhere air conditioned. It's a desert after all. It will be bloody hot in August.

Usually Vegas shows....... although Absinthe in the Caesar's Palace front lot is worth catching, very funny and rude.
I have to go a couple of times a year for meetings and I can say that I wouldn't go on my own money. If you don't gamble - not much point being there.
It's not flash and looks pretty crap from outside but this place was nice.
